It won’t be long until we are able to announce the pre-order details for Hiding Under the Leaves, which will be launched on 3rd November this year… But right now, as the sun is sizzling in the UK, I’m reminded of our beautiful world and the reasons why I put together an anthology of solar punk stories with Vivid Worlds.
I’m only one humble editor, but if I can do my bit, I will. I thought I would pick a challenge for myself this month, and I would like to invite readers to try this too. It’s one that’s really hard for me, because the weather is decidedly warm, and to my mind there is nothing nicer than one of those fancy colas with a muddy mango flavouring in the background (taste is subjective!), and I’m a sucker for buying little bottles of it. So, for Plastic -Free July I’m making a pledge not to buy them. It’s going to be hard, but I have a lot of steel water bottles I can and will use instead.

Of course, I would like more of you to read Vivid Worlds, too, so please look out for our one-day e-book sale on 10th July, which also coincides with Don’t Step on a Bee Day. This doesn’t mean you can go around stepping on them all the other days. Nor does it mean stepping on bidets. This is also inadvisable.
