As the year is almost over, I thought I would write and say Happy New Year to all our readers, writers, artists, friends, and supporters.
Having started this venture in 2023, this is the year I’ve really gone for it and invested a lot into this publishing business. They do say one door closes and another one opens, and for me that’s usually the draft going through the house. But no, in 2025 a bit of sad departure from what I had been doing for years as a main job really was a good opportunity. In 2026, we are hoping to build and build on this, and we have some ambitious and exciting book goals to achieve.
However, it’s also a time for reflection.
In 2025, we brought out two anthologies: Vivid Worlds and Hiding Under the Leaves.

We attended Sci-Fi Weekender, Edge-Lit, Eastercon, World Fantasycon, Innsmouth Literary Festival, and book fairs in Milton Keynes, Market Harborough and Northampton.
We launched an e-book shop on Payhip, so you don’t have to buy from Amazon (see Store).
We got some great reviews from Horror Tree and Run Along the Shelves for Hiding Under the Leaves – and more reviews are coming next year!
Perhaps one of the stories from Hiding Under the Leaves got picked for a plum horror recommended reading list, but we can’t say any more than that right now. But, squee!
As always, please do bear our great books in mind when you are nominating for awards. We didn’t get many reviews for Vivid Worlds, but several great stories in there really do deserve a nod. Grab the ebook from our store for just £2.99 and see for yourself. Vivid Worlds – Payhip
What’s next? More anthologies certainly, but we’d love to start publishing single author books in the future.
The diary is filling up too with lots of events. Always on the lookout for more!
See you all in 2026!
